The results of the spring 2017 barometer are out
More than 90 businesses across the Thames Valley took part in the latest Thames Valley Business Barometer which provides a snapshot of economic confidence and business performance across the region. The report published today reveals that economic confidence and performance indicators head back up to pre-Brexit levels amongst Thames Valley businesses.
Carbon Black, Core to Cloud, Courtiers, Ella’s Kitchen and The Knowledge Academy are also profiled in the report, sharing their perspectives on their own performance and the key challenges they have been facing in the last six months.
The latest barometer also looked at data protection matters and in particular the regions awareness and preparation for the New EU Data Protection regulation (GDPR) coming into force on 25 May 2018. Regardless of what happens with Brexit, GDPR will be applied and those choosing to run the risk fines of up to 4% of their global turnover or €20M, whichever is greater.
